On the way back from Traverse City came the next stop at Higgins Lake for NYE weekend. Here is Ryan with his cousins paying his first tab at the Silver Dollar restaurant.

Next came a trip up north to Traverse City with friends Mark & Verna and Kathy & Dan.
Christmas!
Ryan's first Christmas. What a wonderful day it was for our little family. Ryan is standing in the brand new Detroit Tigers toy box that Daddy just put together for him. Oh boy!
More Christmas
Next it was on to Pete & Tricia's house to see more family. Ryan seemed to latch onto his cousin Andrew.
Christmas weekend
We had a very busy weekend before Christmas with a trip to the Grand Rapids area to see all the family. Four houses in 2 1/2 days - whoo hoo! What a great time we all had. Here's Ryan at Grandpa and Grandma Vredeveld's house meeting his new step-cousin Landon.
Ridin around in my automobile...
Check out Ryan getting a ride in his police car given to him by his cousin Logan. Before we know it he'll be tall enough to push himself around in it. That's Bailey on the left figuring out how long before he needs to run away!
