Navigation 101
Our Thanksgiving week drive to Indianapolis, Cincinnati, and then the Smoky Mtns in Tennessee, found Ryan learning to read a map and telling Mommy & Daddy where we had to go next.
HALLOWEEN!
"I'm faster than fast and quicker than quick. I am speed!" And so the love of Lightning McQueen and all things from the movie CARS continues. He looked so cute in his costume and got extra candy for it! Mission accomplished! Ryan actually went up to 6 houses with Mommy this year too and said "Trick or Treat" (in a barely audible, shy voice of course, but he said it none the same!).
Troy Daze Festival!
Ryan's first carnival rides with his best buddy Jayden! It was a blast (after nervous-overprotective Mommy was done biting her nails during his first ride :-).
Where are they?
We took Ryan to a Lions football game in September. We were in the nosebleed seats. Can you tell?
Hey check me out!
Corn on the cob is the best!! You would NOT believe how fast he can chomp one down! OH, and he must have those little corn cob holders that you jam into the ends of the cob. They last about half way thru and then because of the sheer force of him gnawing on the corn and tugging on the corn holders at the same time, one of them is bound to pop out and send the corn cob flying!
Ryan's 2 Year Pictures!
Okay, okay, so I realize that he's almost 2 and a half now, but hey, I'm a full time working Mom (yes they made me come back full time again due to company layoffs - ugh), so there is no time for professional pictures anymore! So I say better late then never on the 2 year pictures.
My first Tricycle!

So we bought a new chopper-style tricycle for Ryan back in June and he is still trying to get the hang of it! Here he is "helping" Daddy put it together.
All Fall Down!
Ryan just loves having his buddy Jayden over to play. This time they were playing Ring around the Rosey. Even though they know every word of the song, they seem to just focus on the falling down part! Boys will be boys they say!
