Tool time!

Now that I'm standing up in my crib, it's time to help Daddy lower the mattress all the way so I can't escape! Hey, the wrench doesn't taste too bad either!

Happy Thanksgiving

Ryan's first Thanksgiving Day was great day with most of Mommy's side of the family driving in from out of town to be here. While refusing his regular baby food, he tried turkey, mashed potatoes, and gravy for the first time - yummy! Later there was a horse ride on Grandpa's knee and messing around with Chip the dog.

Soap Box Derby

What do you call an empty toaster box? ... The next biggest thrill in an 8 month old's life. He let out some great giggles while Daddy pulled him around the house in this box!

Stand up for your rights!

Okay, so we were just getting used to Ryan on his knees peering over the top of the crib rail at us, when last Friday I turned around and this is what I saw! He had pulled himself into a standing position! Yikes! I jumped back and said "hey mister, what do you think you're doing standing up?" and he just laughed at me. It's like he morphed into a toddler overnight. Let the games begin...

Happy Halloween!

Okay, so he's a little young for trick-or-treats but not too young to have Mommy dress him up! Check out this rather large baby chick :-)

Let's get it started!

Okay, after too long of a gap in getting our old site updated, we've decided that it's time for change! Here's a preview of our new blog which will hopefully allow us to get updates posted more easily and in less time, so that more time can be spent with Mr. Ryan! Our old geocities site was just free (minimal) disk space and an FTP site which allowed us the freedom to design & create our own web pages and upload any photo galleries we designed. However, the drawback being it took to much time to update it and Ryan wasn't willing to let me spend that much computer time each week!

So we hope this blog works out better and that you are interested in seeing what we are up to from time to time. If not and you think it's stupid, well that's okay too. At least you looked at it once! ha ha. :-)
